UrMotion

Using free AI (OpenCode)

OpenCode is a free AI app with several models you can use without an account or payment. Install it once and UrMotion uses it automatically.

Mac

  1. Open Terminal: press ⌘ + Space, type Terminal, then press Enter.
  2. Copy this command, paste it into Terminal, and press Enter:
    curl -fsSL https://opencode.ai/v2/install | bash
If you use Homebrew, this works too:
    brew install anomalyco/tap/opencode-v2
  3. Wait until it finishes. The download is about 100 MB.
  4. Go back to UrMotion, open Settings → Integrations, and click Check again.

Windows

  1. Download opencode-windows-x64.zip from OpenCode's releases page.
  2. Extract it and move opencode.exe to the folder %USERPROFILE%\.opencode\bin (create the folder if it doesn't exist).
  3. Go back to UrMotion, open Settings → Integrations, and click Check again.

Linux

  1. Run in a terminal:
    curl -fsSL https://opencode.ai/v2/install | bash
  2. Go back to UrMotion, open Settings → Integrations, and click Check again.

The free models change from time to time. Pick one in Settings → Integrations. Your requests are handled by the model's provider through OpenCode, not by UrMotion.
